The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

As a Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and be able to work varied hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform a variety of duties during 95% of your day, including but not limited to:
  • Operate cash register/computer following established cash handling procedures.
  • Recover merchandise.
  • Participate in freight processing.
  • Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, resets).
  • Assemble merchandise.
  • Perform janitorial duties.
  • Execute price changes/markdowns.
  • Operate Forklift and Cardboard Baler (must be over 18).
  • Assist customers with loading purchases.
  • Ensure a Legendary shopping experience and the safety of birds, including sanitizing poultry tanks and caring for birds as required.
  • Complete all documentation related to these duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

• Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
• Hard surfaces, adequate lighting, and temperature.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe environment.

• Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds and push/pull loads up to 2000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift overhead occasionally, stand, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders frequently.
• Operate store equipment and communicate effectively.
• Handle birds/poultry and complete training and certifications as required.

This overview is not exhaustive. Perform all duties as assigned by your supervisor.
