• Consistently and courteously greet each customer; provide fast and friendly service; conduct accurate and efficient transactions; handle concerns quickly.
• Perform merchandising activities: pricing, promotions, vendor check‑in, stocking, cleaning, and facing of all merchandise including the cooler.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, staff, and management regarding store operations.
• Work as a team to serve customers and meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• Use store technology such as POS systems, computers, and hand‑held devices; perform calculations for change, sell reports, and product counts.
• Assist with training new employees, perform loss control functions (cash handling, lottery sales, food waste, employee purchases, merchandise sales), and report concerns.
• Prepare food per guidelines, recipes, and job aids; inspect items for correct temperature, cleanliness, rotation, portioning, and pricing.
• Sanitize equipment, dishes, and food service areas; ensure quality, service, cleanliness, safety, display, and storage standards; clean the store as time permits.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer‑service oriented; comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform calculations for change, shift reports, and vendor checks.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and operate computers and office equipment.
• Willingness to attend food‑safety training and obtain a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent.
• Physical ability to move and position products in a cooler (as low as 30 °F) for up to one hour and in a freezer (as low as 0 °F).
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and to retrieve supplies from shelves, counters, or stacked inventory.
• Ability to remain standing for up to nine hours per shift.
• Ability to observe and inspect items and surroundings for safety and regular duties.
• Willingness to ascend and descend ladders to handle inventory or products.
• Perform tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Speak, read, write, and understand English to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Meet company requirements, including a successful pre‑employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service, retail sales, or food service experience.
