A non-extensive list of maintenance skills used in this role includes drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, general building maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Complete daily work orders.
- Be available for on call after hours.
- Must have applicable maintenance tools.
- Conduct unit turns in a timely manner including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
- Preform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to work in enclosed spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Must be willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
- Must be able to pick up supplies from area vendors as needed while legally operating a registered and properly insured vehicle.
- Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
- Travel to, and participate in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
- Be alert to any emergencies, suspicious persons or events and notify appropriate staff.
- Assist with maintaining exceptional curb appeal.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with , vendors, and other staff members.
- Make the manager aware of any health and safety concerns on site.
- Education: High School diploma or the equivalent
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience
Experience:
- experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, general building maintenance
- HVAC EPA Type I & II Certification
