• Responsible for performing general mechanical and preventative tasks, as well as inspections, services, repairs and overhauls on hospital equipment as directed.
• Installing all new equipment and systems as assigned and ensuring that installations and operations comply with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Coordinating and inspecting projects, ensuring they meet quality standards within approved time frames and comply with city/state codes and JACHO requirements.
• Carrying out routine and specific assignments to ensure the physical plant and assigned equipment are in safe operating condition and compliant with hospital policies and regulatory/accrediting codes.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
