RN – Endoscopy

About This Role

As an RN in the Endoscopy unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital, you will assist surgeons during procedures, set up instrumentation, and provide exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Assist surgeons during endoscopic procedures.
• Set up instrumentation for procedures.
• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients and document findings in patient records.
• Notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Coordinate ongoing care and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families.

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience:
  • 1 year of recent RN experience OR 2 years of LPN experience in the same procedural department
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  • Current RN License in Ohio
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire for areas performing moderate sedation procedures
