About This Role

The RN – Endovascular position at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital involves providing professional nursing care in an operative setting for adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. • Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, such as selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition.
• Manage the overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks, such as hemostasis and suturing.
• Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and surgical equipment for use.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• 1 year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program
• 2 years of recent experience as an RN preferred

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire if performing moderate/procedural sedation
