About This Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre-Op/PACU unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care in both pre- and post-anesthesia care settings.   Part-time, Day shift

• Complete nursing assessments.
• Obtain vital signs.
• Insert IVs.
• Administer medications.
• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience required.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
