We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager Construction to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities- Manage and support multiple Project Managers and Projects efficiently
- Procure, coordinate and manage subcontractors & suppliers
- Assist with creation and management of budgets
- Monitor material lead times & delivery dates
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedule utilizing Microsoft Project
- Communicate effectively and maintain constant communication with Client, PM’s and Superintendents, and other team members
- Attend progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Procure, assemble and distribute project close out documents.
- Review, log, and monitor Submittals and Shop Drawings.
- Prepare, log, and monitor Requests For Information (RFI's)
- Prepare, log, and monitor Proposed Change Orders and Change Orders
- Develop new clients and maintain existing client relationships
- Attend meetings/functions i.e. ABC events etc. to help develop and maintain clients
- Support and assist the PM to estimate projects and prepare bid proposals based on Company strategic business development
- Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Deadline and detail-oriented
