Model- Systems Engineer - SME

Altamira is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain models that support mission‑critical analysis within secure environments. The ideal candidate brings strong system modeling experience and an ability to communicate model concepts with engineers and non‑engineer audiences.

• Design, develop, and maintain models of mechanical systems (e.g., aircraft)
• Train and mentor peers on modeling best practices

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10 years of experience in Model‑Based Systems Engineering
• Strong experience developing models using Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
• Ability to operate in secure, compliance‑driven environments
