Job Description Position SummaryResicum International LLC is seeking an experienced 15R Aviation Maintenance Advisor to support current and future Training Assistance Field Team (TAFT) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs worldwide
.
The 15R Aviation Maintenance Advisor serves as a senior aviation maintenance subject matter expert responsible for providing technical advisory support, maintenance instruction, hands‑on training, troubleshooting assistance, mentorship, and maintenance expertise to international military aviation organizations.
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a senior aircraft mechanic, crew chief, technical inspector, maintenance supervisor, or equivalent senior‑level aviation maintenance professional
. The advisor will work alongside partner‑nation aviation maintenance personnel to improve aircraft maintenance capability, technical proficiency, safety, readiness, and sustainment.
The position will primarily support AH‑64/AH‑64E aviation maintenance activities and may require the advisor to provide instruction and technical guidance across multiple aircraft maintenance systems and disciplines.
Previous SATMO/TAFT and aviation maintenance instructional experience is highly preferred.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Serve as a senior aviation maintenance advisor to international military aviation personnel.
- Provide classroom and hands‑on instruction in aircraft maintenance procedures, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, repair, removal, installation, and functional testing.
- Provide technical expertise in AH‑64/AH‑64E aircraft maintenance and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot and assist with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, flight‑control, drive, and other aircraft systems.
- Assist partner‑nation mechanics with fault isolation and corrective maintenance.
- Interpret and apply U.S. Army aviation technical manuals, maintenance publications, engineering instructions, drawings, schematics, and other technical data.
- Provide guidance on aircraft inspections, maintenance evaluations, and component serviceability.
- Assist with scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance on component removal, installation, adjustment, rigging, servicing, and functional testing.
- Provide instruction on aircraft maintenance documentation, forms, records, and logbook requirements.
- Advise partner‑nation maintenance leadership on aircraft readiness, maintenance effectiveness, recurring discrepancies, and technical issues.
- Mentor aircraft mechanics, crew chiefs, technical inspectors, maintenance supervisors, and other aviation maintenance personnel.
- Support maintenance qualification, progression, continuation training, and remediation.
- Develop and deliver classroom, practical, and hands‑on maintenance training.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide technical feedback.
- Assist with the development of lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and maintenance training programs.
- Identify maintenance training deficiencies and provide corrective instruction.
- Provide guidance on aviation safety, FOD prevention, tool control, hazardous materials, risk management, and maintenance discipline.
- Assist with aircraft inspections, maintenance assessments, component evaluations, and readiness assessments.
- Support aircraft fielding, acceptance, modification, modernization, and sustainment activities as required.
- Promote U.S. Army aviation maintenance standards, quality‑control practices, safety procedures, and technical compliance.
- Work effectively with international military personnel and U.S. Government representatives.
- Perform other aviation maintenance advisory duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Former U.S. Army 15R AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer or equivalent U.S. military aviation maintenance professional.
- Significant military aircraft maintenance experience.
