This position provides an opportunity for an experienced aviation component repair professional to continue serving the aviation community by providing technical expertise, maintenance instruction, component repair supervision, troubleshooting assistance, mentorship, and advisory support to international partner‑nation aviation organizations.
Position SummaryThe Aircraft Components Repair Supervisor (15K) serves as a senior technical aviation maintenance advisor responsible for providing aircraft component repair instruction, supervision, mentorship, troubleshooting assistance, quality‑control guidance, and technical expertise to partner‑nation aviation maintenance personnel.
The advisor will provide subject matter expertise in aircraft component inspection, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting, component disassembly and assembly, precision measurement, testing, repair documentation, serviceability determination, and maintenance quality control
.
Working directly alongside international military aviation maintenance organizations, the advisor will assist partner‑nation personnel in developing safe, effective, and sustainable aircraft component repair capabilities while promoting sound military aviation maintenance practices, technical standards, safety procedures, and quality‑control disciplines.
The successful candidate will help develop partner‑nation maintenance personnel and organizations capable of independently performing component repair and maintenance operations while improving aircraft availability, component reliability, and overall operational readiness.
Primary Responsibilities- Serve as an Aircraft Components Repair Supervisor Advisor to FMS partner nations.
- Provide technical supervision, instruction, and mentorship to international aviation maintenance personnel performing aircraft component repair.
- Provide classroom and hands‑on instruction covering component inspection, disassembly, troubleshooting, repair, assembly, testing, and return‑to‑service procedures.
- Supervise and mentor partner‑nation component repair personnel in the proper application of approved maintenance procedures.
- Assist maintenance personnel with identifying, troubleshooting, isolating, and correcting component‑related discrepancies.
- Provide technical guidance on aircraft component repair, overhaul, inspection, and serviceability requirements.
- Assist with component removal, disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, testing, and installation as applicable to the assigned aircraft.
- Provide instruction on the proper use of technical manuals, component maintenance publications, overhaul procedures, work packages, engineering instructions, and technical data.
- Assist partner‑nation personnel in determining component serviceability in accordance with approved technical data and established maintenance procedures.
- Provide instruction on precision measurement, tolerances, clearances, wear limits, and other applicable component inspection requirements.
