Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Medication Aide to work in our assisted living facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, maintaining accurate medication records, and providing excellent patient care. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with our nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident responses
  • Monitor and report any adverse reactions to medications
  • Assist with resident care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Conduct vital signs and other assessments as required
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Requirements:

  • Currently certified as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to confidentiality policies
