Systems Administrator​/AWS Cloud Engineer​/Linux Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Systems Administrator/AWS Cloud Engineer/Linux Engineer with Security Clearance
The program is expanding its System Administration team. Our Partner is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to enhance their existing technical team supporting the advancement of AI/ML/Data Science technologies in Warrenton, VA. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative, cloud engineer to join in and contribute to a team environment. The candidate will be part of a team that supports the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment.

This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires a knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure. Requirements
* TS/SCI FSP Clearance

* Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience

* Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment

* Experience patching and maintaining system’s databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle

* Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems

* Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solution, etc.

* Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., Cloud Trail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM)

* Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Cloud Formation, etc.)

* Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security

* Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment

* Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator

* Experience using a scripting language

* Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting

* Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare
