• Operate the cutting and seaming line and direct department personnel to assure the safety, product quality, efficiency, and performance goals are consistently achieved.
• Verify process output is within specified quality limits and make adjustments and/or communicate when outside allowable limits.
• Execute, interpret, record, and properly respond to inspections and test results.
• Isolate and/or reject materials that are out of specification.
• Assure transactions (e.g., production, rejects, inventory, work hours, etc.) are accurately recorded.
• Assist in shift preparation, directing personnel, and shutdown or hand‑off at end of shift.
• Ensure all process equipment is controlled and maintained to accepted standards.
• Actively participate in Toyota Production System (TPS) activities.

• Excellent work history in a manufacturing environment.
• Good math and computer interface skills.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Strong interpretation and decision‑making skills.
• Good time‑management skills; able to think ahead while completing the tasks at hand.
• Stable personality to assist in training employees and confidently direct co‑workers with respect.

• Post‑high‑school education or degree.
• Experience in glass fabrication, operating equipment, or similar responsibilities.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or potential.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proven record of involvement (improvement ideas, team membership, positive interaction, PARs, etc.).
• Record of consistent and predictable work attendance.
