Job Description - RN-Infusion-PRN-Days ) Overview
The Registered Nurse provides and directs clinically appropriate patient care to an individual or group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Department of Nursing, the organization, and the scope and standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).
Qualifications- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
- Current Virginia State RN License.
- Current BLS.
- Basic computer skills.
- Infusion:
Must have passed ONS Chemo/Biotherapy Guidelines course and have a current Chemotherapy Provider Card in order to administer Chemotherapy. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. - Preferred: 2 years of nursing experience.
- Preferred: ONS Certification.
