Fauquier Health's Medical/Surgical department combines Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units, with 30 beds total between two floors. Our rapidly growing unit will elevate your nursing skills with a variety of patient cases and acuity levels, such as cardiac, GI, renal failure, and orthopedics.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

• Applicants must have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 7 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
