Registered Nurse (RN) – Assistant Director Surgical Services

Schedule:

Full Time, Weekdays with call as needed.

Fauquier Health’s Surgical Services unit includes 5 main operating rooms and a cystoscopy suite. In this role you will support a wide range of services such as total joint replacements, sports medicine, ENT, general surgery, GYN, urology, retina, and spine, and play a part in advanced robotic surgery using the da Vinci Xi platform.

• Supervise daily staff activities for the Surgical Services Department.
• Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

• Current Virginia state or compact state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior operating room or surgical experience.
