Nurse Technician (Nurse Tech) - ER

Schedule:

12-hour Shifts

Hourly Range: $19.00 - $23.56

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional Certifications include SRNA or EMT preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification within 30 days of hire and annually.
