• Assumes shift accountability for hospital operations and directs primary caregivers in patient‑care areas.
• Serves as a clinical and administrative resource to nursing staff.
• Coordinates and directs activities in emergency situations.
• Counsels and directs unit resource nurses and staff in the provision of direct nursing care.
• Acts as a patient advocate and investigates and resolves patient/customer and staff complaints.

• Current Virginia state or compact state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 7 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 7 days of hire.
• Minimum 5 years of registered nursing experience in a hospital setting; preferred experience as a nursing supervisor in ICU and/or ED.

• Competitive hourly wage range: $45.11–$60.89.
