Travel Emergency Room RN – Nights/Days | 36 Hours | Virginia

Join a busy Emergency Department providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. This assignment is ideal for experienced ER nurses who are confident working independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

• 13-week travel contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Rare floating within skill set or as a helping hand
• EMR:
  Meditech

• Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Current:
  • BLS
  • ACLs
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
• Strong emergency nursing skills and ability to work independently

• Triage and emergency patient assessment
• IV starts and phlebotomy
• EKG acquisition and interpretation support
• Splinting and wound care
• Medication administration
• Patient transport
• Care of adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Ability to manage a wide variety of emergency conditions
