Candidates must be available between 7am‑10pm and on weekends to be considered.

This position offers 25+ hours per week.

The role is not an official description but outlines major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform.

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential.
• Greet customers before checking their order.
• Check out customers’ purchases accurately.
• Identify and know produce items and properly use produce and product codes.
• Distinguish between manufacturer coupons and Schnucks coupons.
• Process manufacturer coupons.
• Collect correct amount due from customers.
• Accept cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards, EBT cards, WIC vouchers, and other payment options using proper procedures.
• Complete register records accurately.
• Practice and maintain cash security.
• Bag customer orders.
• Change register receipt and coupon machine tapes.
• Perform other duties assigned by store management.

Training will be provided at the store level.

• Bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Working on feet throughout the entire shift (4–8hours).

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, manager approval based on performance is required.
