Plumber
Plumber – State of Oregon Military Department, Camp Rilea, Warrenton, Oregon. Permanent full‑time position represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees’ (AFSCME) union.
ResponsibilitiesPerform skilled, journeyman-level plumbing work, including installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing the water and sewer distribution systems and associated plumbing fixtures at Camp Rilea. Work from ladders, scaffolding, manlifts, and roofs as needed.
Working ConditionsSubject to loud noise and unsanitary conditions several times monthly. Required to push, pull and lift up to 90 lbs; bend, stoop, and stand for long periods; regular exposure to dust, blowing sand, inclement weather, confined spaces, and occasional exposure to chlorine, sewer gas, and natural gas.
Qualifications- Valid Oregon Plumber’s License (journeyman).
- Valid Oregon State driver’s license with acceptable driving record or reliable alternative transportation.
- Backflow assembly tester certification.
- Favorable criminal background check and DOD NACI Suitability Determination (T1).
- Drug‑ and alcohol‑free workplace certification per OMD Drug/Alcohol CPM’s, Policies, and Statewide Drug Free Workplace Policy 50‑000‑01.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a backflow assembly tester certification.
- Must possess a favorable Department of Defense National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Suitability Determination (T1).
