Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM;

JOB SUMMARY
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites, and other designated locations. This position regularly operates company vehicles, loads and unloads materials, and ensures deliveries are completed accurately and safely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities outlined below represent the primary duties of this position. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with company procedures, applicable standards, and job requirements, with the level of supervision and support appropriate to the employee’s experience and level of training.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and other designated locations.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload bundles of pipe, flues, line sets, HVAC components, and other construction-related materials using safe material-handling practices.
- Follow all applicable DOT requirements, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Perform required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- E nsure loads are properly secured and delivery routes are planned for safe and efficient transportation.
- Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition and maintain required DOT documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, supervisors, and construction personnel.
- Wear company-provided PPE and follow all required safety practices while performing deliveries and working at job sites; perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Valid DOT medical card required, or ability to successfully complete the required DOT physical and obtain medical certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements described below are representative of the physical abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb, kneel, and use hands to operate vehicles and handle materials and equipment. The employee must be able to safely navigate uneven surfaces and construction sites, and lift, carry, push, pull, load, and unload materials weighing up to 75 pounds, including but not limited to, pipe, flues, line sets, sheet metal, ductwork, HVAC components, and other construction materials, some of which may have sharp edges or surfaces.
The employee must be able to perform required duties in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions and meet applicable DOT physical requirements, including maintaining a valid DOT medical card.
