Description
- Serves as a clinical resource to ambulatory practices.
- Collaborates with team members, practice leadership, and system partners to reinforce organizational initiatives and standard work.
- Assists in the planning, coordination and implementation of NHNMG onboarding programs, operational meetings and various educational initiatives led by the Clinical Practice team.
- Conducts standard onboarding training, education, and skill validation for new clinical leaders and staff to ensure competency and compliance with organizational standards.
- Develops and maintains onboarding materials and training schedules in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Facilitates ongoing training and education to align with evolving care standards and organizational goals.
- Supports and promotes programs that provide opportunities for professional development and continuing education for clinical staff.
- Collaborates with leadership and subject matter experts to identify training needs and implement development initiatives.
- Utilizes evidence-based research when supporting and implementing clinical best practices, policies, and standard workflows to ensure compliance with organizational goals.
- Participates in the integration of new ambulatory practices and reinforces practice standards through onsite/virtual support to the clinical workforce.
- Seeks continual feedback and maintains visibility across practices to gain contextual insight into training and educational needs.
- Responds promptly and professionally to inquiries in shared email inboxes, ensuring timely follow-up, appropriate routing, and inbox organization per team protocols.
- Models, teaches and advances a culture of safety and shared improvement.

Required
:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse - State of Illinois Professional Nurse
- Master of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Master’s degree in a related discipline. Candidates enrolled in a Master’s degree program will be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an RN
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) certification
- Strong verbal/written communication, presenting, multi-tasking, excellent organization, and critical thinking skills
- Frequent travel to various NM locations based on organizational need
Preferred
:
- Certification in relevant professional organization
- Prior ambulatory clinical experience
- Prior utilization of Epic or working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) within ambulatory setting
- Prior training or relevant clinical leadership experience, including preparation of training materials and classroom facilitation
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
