As the Manager of Network Engineering at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for managing solutions specific to areas of responsibility including full life cycle management, from strategic planning, deployment, and maintenance of solutions and platforms. You will also identify opportunities to reduce manual efforts, contribute to the growth of the organization, promote patient and user experience, and create innovative solutions with operations, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions to the goals of the system, promote consistency, handle budgeting, and perform administrative tasks assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.
What You Will Do- Drive end-to-end activities for the assigned solutions portfolio and develop and lead teams for high performance outcomes.
- Provide direction for solution implementation including planning, technical setup, building, testing, training, deployment, optimizing, and support.
- Establish relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic business needs and user requirements; identify business requirements to guide specifications for ease of business operations.
- Lead or participate in governance committees to collaborate with key stakeholders about priorities and workload.
- Develop strong partnerships with fellow leaders to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure systems and solutions meet or exceed organizational needs.
- Contribute to activities such as capital and operating budgets, policy and procedure development and adherence, talent management and acquisition, governance activities, and other duties as assigned.
- Remain updated on latest technologies and promote their implementation.
- Participate in industry related organizations such as HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM / XGM, VMware World, as appropriate.
- Collaborate and actively participate across functional components led by other leaders, ensuring overlaps and touch points are seamless, effective, efficient, and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Establish vision and roadmaps for the enterprise, including routing, switching, WiFi, firewalls, and network security.
- Ensure stability, reliability, integration, security, and capacity planning for enterprise network services.
- Provide technical knowledge and enablement to teams within their area of technical responsibility related to software, system, platform or infrastructure owned.
- Manage the completion of assignments related to the technology strategy, ongoing maintenance, expansion or upgrade of assigned software, systems, platforms, infrastructure and devices within Endeavor.
- Manage people assigned to technical projects focused on delivery of a server, platform, software, system or infrastructure through selection and design process into a finished state for internal or external customers, including ensuring ongoing operational readiness.
- Escalate issues or roadblocks in execution or meeting milestones in a consistent and timely manner to management.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - Experience:
Five or more years of experience in managing processes, applications, or systems in an integrated healthcare delivery system or related industries. - Leadership
Experience:
Two or more years in a leadership role, using a portfolio of responsibility. - Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
