Job Overview
Join the team as a School Housekeeper CDLC of Warrenville at Kinder Care Learning Companies. Your role is to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the children we serve.
Responsibilities- Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use designated chemicals and other cleaning products safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Collect and dispose of garbage and waste in accordance with Kinder Care's waste removal and recycling policies.
- At least one year of janitorial experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to transport products and equipment from room to room.
- Capacity to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, bending, standing, climbing, twisting, and walking.
- Basic English reading, writing, understanding, and speaking skills to communicate with children and parents.
Hourly: $12.15 - $35.05. In Minnesota, an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked is provided through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
