Maintenance Technician II

Monarch Landing is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician II to join our team! This is a full-time position, Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30am-6pm.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician II:

  • Performs routine and emergency repairs such as correcting minor electrical malfunctions, plumbing work, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, appliance repairs, medical equipment, repairing doors and locks, etc…
  • Assists in servicing HVAC units/systems.
  • Keeps complete and accurate records of repairs of equipment and vehicles.
  • Responds to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, assists with snow removal, and is part of a scheduled on-call rotation.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical schooling or a minimum of one (1) year experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building, construction, or maintenance is required.
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Valid IL State driver's license with a good driving record.
