Our client is a special M&E Contractor with over 30 years of experience and a head office in the Northwest. Due to growth within the region, we are recruiting for an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Engineer. The role involves working across various contracts to perform complex remedial, pricing and leading small asset replacement works.

• Carry out complex remedial tasks and provide technical support.
• Price and quote small asset replacement works.
• Lead small works such as R22 improvements, refurbishments and replacements.
• Work across diverse contracts and projects.

• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Completion of Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Level 2/3 in HVAC or equivalent.
• Certified 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F‑Gas).
• Full driving licence.
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair.
• Experience in pricing and quoting small works.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment.
• Supervisory experience.
• Live within 30‑45 minutes of the company office in Warrington.

• Up to £48,000 per annum.
• 1‑4 call‑outs plus £350 weekly retainer.
• Overtime at 1.5 × and 2×.
• Company van with optional personal use.
• Travel pay after 30 minutes each way.
• Working hours 8 am–4:30 pm.
