Role Overview

As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer covering Warrington and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment at customers’ sites. The role includes attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance to ensure customers use safe, reliable equipment and deliver customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment.
  • Respond to emergency breakdown calls promptly.
  • Schedule and conduct routine preventive maintenance.
  • Estimate repair work and create accurate work orders.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting on electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings.
  • Collaborate with the business unit/team to support the ESG strategy.
Requirements
  • CAP registration – ideally.
  • Experience with powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie or JLG.
  • Strong estimation and detail orientation.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics experience.
  • Ability to read electrical/hydraulic drawings.
  • Previous engineering experience within powered access.
