Roadside Technician – Overview

Join the team that keeps the UK moving as a Roadside Technician with a Level2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience. You will provide roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions for flat batteries, tyre changes, and complex fault‑finding.
• Maintain a calm, confident approach, reassuring members during roadside incidents.
• Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside.
• Work demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available.
• Operate a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided by the company.

• Level2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Strong customer‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Problem‑solving, people‑oriented mindset and calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions on the roadside.

• Base pay: £36,400 with realistic OTE of £61,000 (top performers earn more through bonuses and overtime rates).
