Maintenance Technician

CNC Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established and supportive engineering team in the Yeovil area. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment and machinery Diagnose faults and identify root causes across electrical and mechanical systems Repair and replace defective components Conduct testing and performance checks on machinery and equipment Maintain and update CMMS records and maintenance history Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving activities Utilise predictive maintenance technologies to monitor equipment performance Assist junior technicians and provide support to small teams where required Maintain high housekeeping and 5S standards Follow all health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:
Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems Ability to fault-find, analyse issues, and carry out repairs independently Competent using hand tools and specialist maintenance equipment Flexible to travel if required Desirable:
Professional and reliable approach to work Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Comfortable working under pressure within a fast-paced environment Key
