The RoleWe are currently looking for a Service Supervisor to join our busy Warrington office. The successful candidate will work alongside the Service Manager and will split time between office‑based activities and field duties supporting the service and call‑out team.
Key Responsibilities- All aspects of day‑to‑day management and coordination of Service Engineers and Field Technicians
- Providing technical assistance and guidance to the Service team
- Establishing and planning engineers’ routes, including re‑routing on MS2 app to maximise production and reduce travel times and fuel costs
- Ensuring all planned visits are completed per calendar month
- Reviewing and influencing engineer productivity
- Dealing with call‑outs, reviewing troublesome lifts, following up with clients and communicating proposals to resolve. Coordinating any resolution actions required with engineers and field technicians
- Managing isolated lifts to ensure minimum downtime and rapid resolution
- Co‑ordinating external and internal training requirements and mentoring the team’s progression
- Undertaking maintenance audits and ensuring overall H&S compliance
- Providing customer technical support as required and improvement and repair
- Demonstrable experience as a Service or Repairs Engineer, with a minimum NVQ 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- Or come from an Engineering background (Mechanical or Electronics)
- Additional experience of managing/co‑ordinating a team would be an advantage, although training will be provided by the Service Management team
- Clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Right to Work in the UK (mandatory)
