Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Warrington. The Service Engineer will perform routine and reactive maintenance, repair, and inspection of compressed air systems and related equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, carrying out troubleshooting, and providing hands‑on field service to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves delivering technical support, documenting service activities, and communicating clearly with customers and internal teams about work performed and any recommended improvements.
The Service Engineer will adhere to company and industry safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex issues in compressed air systems.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including working independently at customer sites and managing on‑site tasks efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, providing clear guidance and solutions to customers and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical and electrical components related to compressed air equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers and team members.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices for working with industrial equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to customer sites as needed.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate service records.
