Li-ion Workshop Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Li-ion Workshop Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Warrington. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with an electrical, mechanical, or materials handling equipment (MHE) background who is looking to develop their expertise in lithium-ion battery technology. The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lithium-ion battery systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Diagnose incoming planned and reactive repair work accurately and efficiently.
• Repair and replace lithium-ion battery components, including cells, stacks, and control units.
• Carry out fault diagnosis using CANBus systems and other diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all required parts are identified, ordered, and fitted correctly.
• Complete repairs in accordance with company procedures, guidelines, and health & safety standards.
• Produce accurate inspection reports, defect reports, timesheets, and service documentation.
• Maintain company records and update job information using IT systems.
• Ensure workshop housekeeping and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
