At Nilfisk, we are one of the UK's leading suppliers of industrial cleaning equipment, and we need someone to help us keep our clients' machines in tip‑top shape. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be working on customer sites throughout Wolverhampton, Dudley, Worcester and surrounding areas, making sure that everything is running smoothly.
Your role will involve completing all repairs within contracted service level agreements, which means you'll be making follow‑up calls to install additional parts, performing Portable Appliance Tests (PAT), and carrying out scheduled planned maintenance services.
We’ll equip you with everything you need – a van, mobile phone, iPad, uniform, and even training! And the best part – you’ll only be working weekdays! We also have a service centre in Wolverhampton so you will be in close contact with your colleagues for support and training.
Key Responsibilities- Always follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures.
- Repair & maintain industrial cleaning equipment across various customer sites.
- Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real‑time".
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit.
- Order parts via our central database and maintain van stock levels.
- Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard.

The Person- A strong understanding of industrial cleaning equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service.
- Analyse problems and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard.
- Adapt to different work environments, working with different machines and equipment.
- Work well with others, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
