Permanent Position | South Manchester, Cheshire, Crewe & Surrounding Areas

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the southern regions of the North West, including South Manchester, Cheshire, Crewe, Northwich and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent opportunity working on day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance within tenanted and void social housing properties, delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out all aspects of joinery repairs and maintenance
Completing responsive repairs within occupied and void social housing properties
Patch plastering and making good works
Basic painting and decorating
Flooring repairs and installations
Basic plumbing repairs
Gaining access works, including lock changes and door repairs
UPVC door and window repairs
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes

Requirements

Proven experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance
Strong multi-skilled background with the ability to undertake additional trade tasks
Experience in joinery, patch plastering, painting, flooring, basic plumbing, gaining access and UPVC repairs
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
