Planner, Business, Business Development

Kelly Services is currently seeking a Planner for one of our top clients in Warsaw, IN.

• Provide tactical execution of purchasing function as needed through life cycle NPI to base business.
• Provide support for general purchase orders life cycle management RFP, PO generation, receipt, invoicing;
  Integrity of PO s keeping orders accurate in the system.
• Develop and execute RFQ Requests for Quotation
• Communicating with Suppliers to ensure supply reliability confirm availability, expediting .
• Resolve invoicing issues with POs Collaborate and act as support source, R D and Supplier Quality during supplier issue resolution.
• Provide monitoring of supply reliability, NPD supplier performance On Time Delivery-OTD , inventory.
• Provide execution for negotiations receiving priorities Inspection priorities Slob Review PIR creation/updates PPV analysis Annual Std cost review SS analysis LT Review/update CO approval Partner with SQA and Source for Supplier quality issues Planning activities.
• Provide support for WC RCCP/cMPS volume alignment, Production schedules WO creation Shop floor control.
• Provide support for prioritization inspection priorities Capture, reconcile and report metrics data, etc.

• A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills- ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data and convert to clear business information is required
• Ability to make decisions based on data and business insights is required
• Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspective and styles is required
• Ability to target their communication as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small-medium sized audience is required
• Experience with an ERP system SAP/APO/SNP/etc. is required

• Supply Chain Certification APICS/IBF is preferred
• Planning or manufacturing experience in a medical/Pharmaceutical or Consumer industry is preferred
• Ability to apply project and person leadership to successfully achieve project, team, and individual goals
• Ability to influence others in a matrix environment is preferred
• Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance results and productivity or quality and/or ability to work with continuous improvement tools is preferred
