As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes.
Your Impact:- Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholder to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
- Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.
- Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, in particular on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions.
What You Bring:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
- Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Experience in export control classification will be a big asset.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
- Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
