Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Change Administrator to join the Audio Video Division in Warsaw, IN
. The Engineering Change Administrator (ECA) manages the full Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, including reviewing and routing ECOs, maintaining product master data, and ensuring accurate effectivity dates. This role requires a seasoned SAP professional with strong manufacturing experience (fabrication and assembly) and the ability to operate with significant autonomy. The ECA collaborates closely with Engineering, Chemists, Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Buyer/Planners, and Finance.

What Will You Do?

  • Generate all SAP records to support new product launches including but not limited to material masters, BOMs, routings, incoming inspection requirements, and document management.
  • Manage the full ECO (Engineering Change Order) process, including review, routing, documentation, and revision control.
  • Maintain and update master data and effectivity dates within SAP/ERP.
  • Ensure accurate and timely coordination across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, and technical teams.
  • Lead and support cross functional initiatives related to product changes, similar to project management responsibilities.
  • Track ECO performance metrics and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Participate in SAP/ERP testing and recommend improvements to reporting tools and system functionality.
  • Promote safety, compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to company values.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Associates or technical degree (no specific field of study required) with a minimum of three (3) years of document control and/or data management experience in a manufacturing environment; or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Strong SAP expertise, specifically within manufacturing (fabrication and assembly).
  • Solid understanding of engineering documentation, and manufacturing structures, and processes.
  • High attention to detail and personal integrity, critical for a role with significant autonomy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong cross functional relationships.
  • Project management related experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving abilities.
  • Professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with care.

Preferred

Skills:

  • Previous experience with SAP
  • APICS certified
