What a day looks like
You start your morning on the production floor, reviewing last shift’s dashboards to spot any anomalies in automated sealing performance across coating and bonding lines. A Fanuc cell flags a minor variance in bead profile, so you dive in—verify parameters, run a quick trial, and adjust to restore repeatability. By midday, you’re collaborating with Production and Maintenance to plan a tooling change for an upcoming product transfer.
The afternoon is dedicated to validating a newly commissioned workstation, documenting process qualification results, and closing the loop on corrective actions that shaved seconds from cycle time without sacrificing quality.
Impact you’ll make
Own and elevate automated sealing, coating, and bonding operations to maximize uptime and consistency.
Serve as the go-to expert on Fanuc automated sealing systems—programs, parameters, best practices, and optimization.
Rapidly troubleshoot equipment, automation, and process issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
Lead structured continuous improvement focused on quality, cycle time, uptime, and repeatability.
Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Support commissioning, startup, validation, and full process qualification for new and modified equipment.
Assist with equipment installs, tooling changes, and efficient process transfers between lines or sites.
Partner closely with Production, Maintenance, Controls, and Quality to align on build plans and priorities.
What you bring6–8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume environment.
Proven, hands-on expertise with Fanuc automated sealing equipment.
Background with automated coating, sealing, bonding, or adhesive dispensing systems.
Strong troubleshooting, process optimization, and root cause analysis capabilities.
Experience launching equipment and supporting commissioning and validation activities.
Proficiencies Continuous Improvement Automotive Manufacturing Systems Automotive Repair & Service Systems Tools & technologies you’ll leverage3D Modeling (AutoCAD) for layouts, tooling concepts, and cell enhancementsSCADA for monitoring, data collection, and control insights
