Responsibilities
- Support EOL manufacturing and commissioning processes across vehicle systems including brake, steering, ADAS, and body controls.
- Execute and troubleshoot activities such as fluid fill, wheel alignment, steering and brake calibration, camera/ADAS alignment, ECU flashing, and vehicle provisioning.
- Diagnose and resolve vehicle communication issues involving CAN, CAN-FD, and UDS diagnostics.
- Investigate ECU communication failures, network routing issues, flashing concerns, diagnostic timeouts, and sensor calibration problems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Software, Validation, and Supplier teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support prototype, launch, and production builds while improving EOL throughput and first‑time quality.
- Develop and maintain diagnostic procedures, troubleshooting documentation, and automated validation or calibration tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, vehicle diagnostics, commissioning, calibration, integration, or plant support engineering.
- Strong experience with CAN/CAN‑FD networks and UDS diagnostics.
- Hands‑on experience with Vector tools including CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and vFlash.
- Experience supporting vehicle commissioning activities such as ECU flashing, sensor initialization, steering/brake calibration, wheel alignment, ADAS alignment, and vehicle configuration.
- Solid understanding of automotive communication architectures, diagnostic workflows, gateways, and manufacturing validation processes.
- Ability to interpret CAN databases, wiring diagrams, network topologies, and diagnostic specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with EV platforms, high‑voltage systems, AUTOSAR‑based ECUs, OTA readiness, or manufacturing automation.
- Experience with Python, CAPL, or other diagnostic scripting and automation tools.
- Familiarity with ISO‑14229 (UDS), secure diagnostics, and ECU flashing processes.
- Experience supporting prototype, validation, or launch builds in an automotive manufacturing environment.
