Johnson & Johnson – DePuy Synthes – We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Business Ops / Finance to support business performance and long‑range planning. The role is based in one of the following locations:
Raynham, MA;
West Chester, PA;
Palm Beach Gardens, FL;
Warsaw, IN; or Raritan, NJ.
The Sr. Manager, Business Ops / Finance partners closely with cross‑functional leaders to drive financial rigor, improve processes, and enable sustainable growth. This highly visible role has direct impact on business results, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to support short‑ and long‑term objectives.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations.
- Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives including investment evaluation, cost optimization, and business case development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop finance talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
Required Experience and Skills
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, business operations, or related roles.
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and influence senior leadership.
- Experience leading teams and developing talent in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting a global or multi‑business organization.
- Background in medical devices, life sciences, or a regulated industry.
- Experience driving process improvements or finance transformation initiatives.
- Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning abilities.
- Prior experience partnering with operations, supply chain, or commercial teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- English language proficiency (required).
- Limited travel, up to 10–20%, primarily domestic.
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification (preferred).
USD 122,000 – 245,000 per year (annual).
