RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Work every 3rd weekend with no on-call requirements

• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (96 hours bi-weekly not available)

• 13-week assignment duration with auto offer position

• May be required to float to MS Telemetry with 6:1 patient ratio

• Block scheduling not available

• Patient ratios: 3:1 or 2:1 depending on patient acuity, 1:5 if MS overflow

• Care for ventilator-dependent patients, manage IV drips and IV sedation

• Handle post-operative recoveries after hours occasionally

• Work in 14-bed Critical Care and Progressive Care unit

• Monthly department volume of approximately 175 patients

• Required licenses and certifications:
Indiana RN license, ACLS, BLS

• Current driver's license required

• 1-2 years critical care experience required

• Must live greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

• Electronic Medical Record system:
Cerner

• No ECMO or trauma experience required
