Purpose:

The Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning and Performance is a seasoned individual‑contributor role focused on building commercial analytics for Med Tech decision‑making, serving as a lead analyst for procedure‑based forecasting and capital planning across Hip, Knee, Shoulder, and enabling technology platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain the analytical foundation for a single source of truth for procedure demand across Hip, Knee, and Shoulder platforms.
  • Build, scale, automate, and operationalize procedure‑based forecasting models and analytical tools that support commercial Integrated Business Planning (IBP), CAPEX decisions and scenario‑based planning.
  • Translate procedure demand signals into clear analytics that inform capital requirements, deployment priorities, asset utilization, and structured investment decisions.
  • Deliver concise, actionable insights that clarify business implications, risks, opportunities, and trade‑offs for commercial planning and investment decisions.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, and Sales teams to align assumptions, validate data inputs, pressure‑test outputs, and improve adoption of planning tools.
  • Improve forecast accuracy, refine analytical methodologies, strengthen data quality, and expand repeatable analytics into broader commercial planning use cases.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, commercial analytics, sales operations, finance, demand planning, or related business planning roles.
  • Strong technical capability with experience using SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel, VBA, Alteryx, or equivalent analytics platforms.
  • Experience building, improving, automating, or product ionizing analytical models, dashboards, forecasting tools, or decision‑support workflows.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities, ambiguous datasets, and evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Experience working with large datasets, integrating multiple data sources, defining data quality rules, and documenting assumptions for repeatable analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into clear business implications, recommendations, and decision‑ready communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Med Tech, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industry experience.
  • Exposure to orthopedic reconstruction, procedural forecasting, commercial planning, IBP, S&OP, demand planning, or capital planning.
  • Experience supporting sales strategy, commercial effectiveness, market access, customer segmentation, funnel management, or go‑to‑market analytics.
  • Interest in growing over time into broader commercial marketing, sales strategy, business analytics, or strategic planning roles.

Pay and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $94,000.00 – $.

Benefits
  • Retirement:
    Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Long‑term incentive program eligibility.
  • Time Off:
    • Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for employees residing in Colorado, 56 hours for Washington)
    • Holiday pay, including floating holidays – 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
    • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care
    • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member, 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
