Position Overview
Manufacturing Systems Business Application Engineer (DePuy Synthes) located in Warsaw, IN or Raynham, MA. This role reports to the Joints Global Manufacturing Systems Standards lead and focuses on supporting operational processes and system functionality for manufacturing systems such as MES and ERP.
Key Responsibilities- User Support:
Act as the first point of contact for end‑users experiencing issues with manufacturing systems such as MES and BTB, providing timely assistance and troubleshooting. - Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve system‑related problems, escalating complex issues to the appropriate technical teams as needed. - System Monitoring:
Continuously monitor systems for performance and reliability, identifying areas that require immediate attention or improvement. - Documentation:
Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of system processes, user guides, and FAQs to facilitate knowledge sharing among users. - Training Coordination:
Arrange and conduct training sessions for end‑users on MES and BTB system functionalities and best practices. - Process Improvement:
Work with business stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance operational performance. - Feedback Collection:
Collect and analyze user feedback to identify common pain points and areas for enhancement, collaborating with IT teams for necessary changes. - Reporting:
Assist in generating routine reports and dashboards to track system performance and user engagement.
- Hands‑on support of manufacturing systems

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Planning, organizing, and risk management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a support role related to business analysis in MES and ERP environments.
- Strong understanding of Med Tech manufacturing processes and ERP operations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and reporting software.
- Familiarity with MES platforms and ERP transaction systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaison effectively with end‑users and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive attitude toward identifying and solving user issues.
