Our client is looking for a diverse and talented APPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN to join the Information Technology Team. The APPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN provides setup, maintenance, and support for application/software, hardware/infrastructure, and connectivity to shop floor CNC Machines. The APPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN will ensure accessibility, reliability, and change control in support of business users. The APPLICATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN will travel monthly to support locations across the United States, including Puerto Rico!
This position is a great opportunity for recent IT graduates, those interested in programming, and for individuals who have IT support experience.
DUTIES
- Work daily with SQL, Power Shell and Batch files to manage CNC programs, automation, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Learn and work DELMIA DNC Shop Floor Programmer application.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to track data and work logs.
- Build Power Shell scripts and Batch files to automate transfers, backups and system upgrades.
- Diagnose network, software, and hardware issues to reduce downtime.
- Comprehend industrial Ethernet and TCP/IP communications.
- Monitor and support centralized CNC machines on the network.
- Install and validate application software on Microsoft/SQL Applications and Database servers.
- Implement patches and upgrades to existing software.
- Execute automation scripting and provide feedback of success or failure.
- Interact with diverse end-users and coach them as needed.
- Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical users.
- Provide SQL reports to business teams.

This is a Contract position based out of Warsaw, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
