Continuous Improvement Specialist

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will support operational excellence at Texmo Blank Warsaw, IN site by applying Lean Six Sigma principles to improve processes, eliminate waste, and enhance efficiency. This role leads and facilitates Kaizen and other improvement initiatives across production and transactional areas, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainable results in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity.
Responsibilities- Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events (Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
- Coach and mentor cross‑functional teams on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Define objectives, develop implementation plans, and establish success criteria.
- Analyze current processes and provide data‑driven recommendations.
- Monitor project progress, measure outcomes, and ensure sustainability of improvements.
- Collaborate across departments (production, logistics, etc.) to support change initiatives.
- Communicate effectively to build engagement and commitment to improvements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Passion for continuous improvement with a zero‑defect mindset.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and highly organized.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Skilled in facilitation, decision‑making, and influencing change.
- Flexible, diplomatic, and collaborative team player.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, and root cause analysis.
- Project management and process improvement expertise.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- High School Diploma (minimum).
- Training or certification in Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
- Comfortable presenting to small‑medium groups.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis.
