We have already invested a significant amount of funds to improve machinery and now this is starting to result in higher sales and a need for a Maintenance Technician Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break in to a career in maintenance. This role will help support the greater maintenance team while providing an opportunity for On the Job training to expand your skill set as well as the opportunity for upward mobility within the company.
- Learn from Maintenance Tech and Maintenance Supervisor on completion of PM’s, Reactive Maintenance (RM), and new equipment/facility projects
- Split shift – 12:00-8:30 PM
- Will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and supervised by the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor on 2nd Shift
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
- Complete logging of PM’s per provided schedule and PM checklists
- Obtain other work assignments from the Maintenance supervisor as needed
- Raise issues of recurring equipment malfunctions or broken components to the maintenance supervisor
- Logging of spares as used
- Performs minor repairs to facilities and equipment as requested
- Must have the ability to read work order instructions and carry out directions as necessary
- Knowledge/interest in mechanical systems
- Knowledge/interest in electrical, hydraulic, HVAC and other systems

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Interest in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- 0-3 years previous maintenance experience
