Job description:

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd shift Janitorial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are kept in pristine condition. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Handle commercial cleaning duties such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and surface disinfection.
• Assist with custodial tasks in industrial settings as needed.
• Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are functional and safe.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and replenished as necessary.
• Maintain open communication with customers, employees and subcontractors
• Ensure adherence to company standards and quality
• Oversee cleaner schedules and arrange coverage for cleaner time off as needed

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
