Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support manufacturing operations by assisting with process improvements, production support, and engineering initiatives. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation who are eager to develop their skills in a manufacturing environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production-related issues.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and other cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, and process records.
- Assist with equipment validation, process qualification, and continuous improvement activities.
- Analyze production data and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience, OR
- Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Internship, co-op, or prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, or production equipment is a plus.
